Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kiksi Discord bot ("Bot") and the web dashboard at kiksi.gsv2.com ("Dashboard"), collectively referred to as the "Service," operated by GSv2.0 ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Free to Win — Not Pay to Win Kiksi is and will remain free. All core features are available to every user at no cost. Premium adds quality-of-life improvements only — never gameplay advantages, exclusive moderation features, or anything that creates an unfair experience.

1. Description of Service

Kiksi is a multi-purpose Discord bot offering:

The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction's laws, to use the Service. You must have a valid Discord account in good standing and comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. By adding the Bot to a server, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

3. Dashboard Access

Dashboard access requires authentication via Discord OAuth2. We request only the "identify" and "guilds" scopes — your Discord ID, username, avatar, and the list of servers where you have administrator permissions. We do not request access to your email, direct messages, or the ability to act on your behalf. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account.

GlobalChat relays messages across multiple Discord servers. By using GlobalChat, you acknowledge that:

6. AI Features

The Bot includes AI-powered conversational responses, moderation, language detection, and mood analysis. All AI processing runs on locally hosted infrastructure — no message content is transmitted to external AI providers.

AI-generated responses are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). The AI will not provide instructions for self-harm, generate sexual content involving minors, assist with illegal activities, or reveal its technical architecture.

Conversation history is held in volatile memory only and is automatically cleared after 30 minutes of inactivity. No conversation data is stored in any database.

7. Virtual Economy & Coins

The Service includes a virtual currency ("Coins") earned by voting for the Bot on third-party platforms. Coins have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency. Coin balances are non-transferable between users and are tied to your Discord account.

We reserve the right to modify coin earning rates and available purchases at any time. Abuse of the voting or coin system (e.g. using alt accounts, automated voting) may result in forfeiture of coins and suspension of your account.

8. Premium

Premium is a per-user subscription — it applies across all servers where you are present, not to a specific server. Premium is activated via key codes with a defined expiration date. Premium pricing is displayed in the Dashboard and may change at any time.

Payment processing will be handled by Stripe when implemented — this feature is not yet active. We do not store payment card details. Refunds are at our discretion, except where required by applicable law.

9. Server Logging

When the Logging module is enabled by a server administrator, the Bot processes server events (member joins/leaves, message edits/deletions, role changes, bans, etc.) in real time and posts them to a configured channel. The Bot does not maintain a persistent archive of logged events beyond what Discord stores. Server administrators are responsible for informing their members about logging in compliance with applicable privacy law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of GSv2.0. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right beyond a limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Content you submit through public-facing features (e.g. GlobalChat) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to relay, display, and translate that content as necessary to operate the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated responses, translations, or moderation decisions. We make no uptime guarantees; maintenance may occur without prior notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GSv2.0 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to data loss, server outages, or misconfiguration. Since Kiksi is a free, non-commercial service, our total liability shall not exceed zero euros.

13. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless GSv2.0 from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the Bot or Dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the Bot from your server and ceasing to use the Dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will do so (including Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, and 16).

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
